Stuff
Got a lot of stuff done with work and personal goals -- sent in another RPG.net article, got all the work supervisee midyear reviews done, got some polishing done in the board game I'm working on. Spent way too much time surfing the net doing brainless stuff. Didn't get much writing done. :-(
But, I did register a new livejournal site -- megapolis_story. Nothing of note on it, but hope to change that shortly.
Saw Vantage Point on TV. The first 10 minutes were surprisingly good, and the last twenty minutes weren't that bad either. Too bad there was all that middle in between the good parts.
Thinking of this post from andrewducker. It reminds me of the joke about the banker who goes to the famous pianist. "Sir, you don't remember me, but I auditioned for you forty years ago. You said I was would never be a pianist, so I quit the piano and turned to business and did quite well for myself. But, I always wondered if you gave me a proper chance." The pianist says, "Oh, you actually were quite good." The man said, "Why did you say I would never make it? I may be a totally different person." The pianist answered, "I always say that. If you truly were meant to be a pianist, you wouldn't have listened to me."
Oh, and got a new cat icon. Because all the cool folks have a cat icon. That was Angel, the little girl who died of kidney failure. She liked the camera.
