House grimaced. “With twenty-five bucks for a tie. Here,” he said, handing the other doctor a pink cupcake. “Compliments of the day-old patrol.”
“…You actually bought me a cupcake? It wasn’t your money, was it?”
House smiled.
“Of course not.”

“-But you did get it for me.” Wilson seized the desert. “Mmph. This tastes different,” he declared through a mouthful of cake.
“It is, however, surprisingly familiar.” House smirked, patting the pink laxative bottle in his pocket.
