Firefly drabble.
Title: Bandages

With Mal awkwardly bandaging his wounds, Simon can feel the boundaries he'd mentally set between them rushing away from him like a planet at liftoff, dropping faster than his stomach, yet feeling a thrill all the same. Mal’s hands, not quite rough but not as kind as Simon’s own, leave his pale skin a little redder, a glow reflected in his face as he watches Mal struggle with a stubborn bandage.
“Do you have to watch?” Mal asks, irritated. His hands are on Simon’s shoulders now, absentmindedly tracing a bruise. “I’m the doctor here.” Simon closes his eyes obediently.
“Pants off.”
