Hello, lovely Festividder! Thank you so much for making me a vid!
If you offered any of these sources, you are clearly a wonderful person with excellent taste and we're going to get along fabulously. I'm so delighted to know you're going to make any kind of vid in one of these tiny fandoms, I can't tell you. So no need to stress whatsoever about trying to make me happy or anything like that - as long as you're making the vid you want to make, the thing that made you offer this fandom in the first place, I'll be happy. Optional requests are totally optional and only there to give you a bit of inspiration if you need it.
I love all sorts of vids, in all sorts of styles and genres, and ditto for music - my tastes are eclectic and open-minded. There's no genre or song I can't be sold on; if it works for the vid, it works for me. :)
There seems to be a bit of a theme with my requests this year - genuinely not intentional, several of my requests changed once I saw other people’s nominations! But looking at them...yeah, they’re all daft, joyous things that make my heart happy and I don’t take too seriously. So my requests are all in much the same vein; but one of the best things about Festivids can be getting something you never expected, so if you want to go in a different direction with any of these sources - critical of the source or sad or bittersweet or angsty or anything else - please do so, I’d love to see whatever you come up with.
Death in Paradise [TV]
This show is just pure joy and sunshine in the depths of winter for me - I miss Camille so a Camille vid would be particularly fabulous, or a team vid, or Richard or Humphrey...anything really! The original cast line-up was probably my slight favourite, but I do love Humphrey too.
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2012) [TV]
Ohh, Dot, character of my heart. <3 A Dot vid about her growth as a character, or her relationship with Phryne, or Dot/Hugh (shh, they're adorable) would make me very happy. But I honestly love every single person in this show - an ensemble vid would also be very awesome, or Phryne-focused, or Jack, or Dr Mac, or Burt & Cec - and pretty much every ship combination too, so any vid you want to make is more than fine with me.
The Muppets (live action) [DVD, Movie, Other, Performance, TV, Web]
If you’re looking to narrow it down I do prefer both Jim Henson-era Muppets and the 90s movies to the more recent stuff, and the original Muppet Show itself is my favourite of all. But please don’t let that restrict you - if you want to include modern footage or have an idea for the new NBC series, go for it! The Muppets are my happy place so anything at all would be fabulous. Teamwork and friendship themed maybe, or focusing on one character - Kermit, or Piggy, or Gonzo, or Rowlf? - or the epic, twisted love story of Kermit/Piggy...
Pirates of Penzance (1983) [Movie]
LOVE this version; so brilliantly daft and camp. The Pirate Captain and Ruth plus the policemen are my favourites.
RPF - Horrible Histories/Yonderland/Bill Cast [Movie, Other, TV]
Hmm, something upbeat and fun? Yonderland S2 and then Bill reminded me how much I love these idiots, so a vid about their lovable bonkersness and the joy they seem to get out of working with each other would just make my year. Feel free to use any outside source you need to!
Strictly Ballroom (1992) [Movie]
Something daft and joyous - an ensemble vid, or a Fran character study maybe? Something with the joy of dancing and the daftness of life/family/ballroom competitions/everything else would be fabulous. Love the tone and feel and bonkersness of this movie.

Oh, adorable show of glitter and dreams, I love it all. Even the panto bits. (Especially the panto bits.) <3 I know decent source can be hard to get hold of, and you probably already have an idea in mind if you offered this fandom, so please, make that! Whether you want to focus on a particular series/couple/pro/celeb or throw absolutely everything in there, or whether you want to just focus on the dancing or include other elements of the show too, it’s all good with me. If you can capture the sheer joy and love of dancing, that would be amazing.
Yonderland [TV]
This show brings SO much joy to my heart, I would love to see literally anything at all. If you already had a vid idea in mind, please make that! If you want inspiration though: Debbie, juggling her two lives? Negatus and his demons and their incompetent but vaguely endearing evil? (LOVE the demons.) An ensemble vid, with the general madness of Yonderland? (The place, not the tv show. Though actually yeah, that too...)
