(With apologies for the lateness - I'd hoped to get this up before assignments went out but that was sooner than expected!)
Firstly, thank you so much for writing a story for me - since you are willing to write in any of the fandoms I requested, you are clearly a very awesome person with impeccable taste. :) I love all of the three equally - though in very different ways! - and I am deeply overexcited to get a story in any of them. Please feel free to ignore my requests and even the characters I specified if you're struck with inspiration.
Swallows & Amazons: I left this one very open because I love all the characters in that fandom and couldn't really choose between them. I hope my prompt gave you some ideas - as requested, I would particularly adore either Captain Flint/Timothy or John/Nancy, but I would also love gen and I'm open to any or all pairings really.
Press Gang: Would be very happy with anything, but would particularly love anything in the time period I mentioned in the prompt! One minor thing I forgot to mention - the two characters I specified? You don't have to include them both or have them be the focus of the story, but please don't pair either of them with anyone else as in they-are-my-OTP-and-I-love-them-together-in-a-quite-scary-and-obsessive-way.
The Slipper and the Rose: Would adore you forever for some John/Edward, but would also love gen with those two and Cinders. I love all the other characters in that fandom, so feel free to include any of them or not.
In general: I am a very broad-minded person and have been around fandom for a pretty long time; trust me, you could not shock me however hard you tried. (But that isn't a challenge!)
I would prefer no hardcore smut, but if that's the way the muse takes you, then that's okay with me; I love gen most of all, but I would be very happy with het or slash; and I tend more towards the happy end of the scale than the angsty or depressing, but with many exceptions so don't take that as set in stone!
And once again, to reiterate - so insanely over-the-moon happily giddy at the thought of any fic at all in any of these fandoms that I will love whatever you write, I promise. My requests are only suggestions, please throw them out altogether if they're rubbish. (Which they might well be.)
And of course, got my own Yuletide assignment today - both of them with the glitch, though they're actually identical - and eee! So happy! Fandom I was really, really hoping to get and a pairing that I would never have thought of but am already very intrigued by. (Is that vague enough?)
