I want you to write a coherent, elegant, thoughtful, exciting paper. Now, here are a few things to bear in mind:
1.) You haven't written anything in which you've taken any pride since 10th grade
2.) your sources are: The Iliad, the Aeneid, The Song of Roland, the Bible, the Shahnameh, the Nibelungenlied, maybe the Tain bo Cuilainge, maybe El Cid, and, if you were really any good, the Mahabharata, Gilgamesh, some Hittite fragments, Serbo-Croation epics of various sorts, and the Song of Igor. In 12-15 pages.
3.) you have never cared this much about a class, but you still have to spend most of your time staring at the imperfect paint job you did in your room.
4.) You kind of just don't want to, which is deeply troubling, of course
