My grandmother has expressed optimism once in my presence. Unfortunately she was mistaken.
However, she's been mistaken about things that turned out well.
The point is, my grandmother is 80 something, and she was optimistic.
So here we are, in a moment in time. A bad moment in time...a very bad moment in time.
but a moment in time nonetheless...
...and the old northeast colonies still plug along in their old fashioned battle for liberty...
I pledge to be on the constant lookout for hope.
But it will be hard because I have no understanding of moral values.
