i'm glad i'm not in high school anymore
On the 23rd, I went to a Fast Times concert (Kate's bf Pete is the lead singer) at the old movie theater and let me tell you it was worth the 3 bucks to enter!
Anyway, Pete and the guitarist Aaron have these "Freshman Stalkers" as we like to call them and well, they were in true form at the concert. They're about 4 ft tall, wear tight clothes, and wear a lot of makeup - you know the type - and then they call mom to pick them up haha. So while the guys are up playing and singing these girls are just acting like they are gods. Screaming, jumping, fanning themselves frantically when they get near them.
This one girl though took the cake. She once handed Aaron his guitar pick (b/c he dropped it) and he touched her hand when she gave it to him - well, she went hysterical "He touched me!" Then, she kept grabbing at Aaron and screaming "Aaron, you're so hot!" and giggling like a fool. She kept lunging towards him on the stage and giving him the googly eyes like she was completely in love with him. It was so weird! And distracting. We watched her the entire time!!! It was so funny! I have never seen someone act like that...especially to some punk high school rock band guitarist. They're not even famous! haha
Not only that, but they follow them around at school. They know all of their classes and stand at specific corners in the hallway and wait for them to walk by. And when Aaron and Pete walk past them, they start laughing uncontrollably.
And...the little pyscho one who adores Aaron goes to the coffee shop and sits there and watches him for hours while he's working. Somehow she finds out his work schedule every week and drops in just to stare at him while he is making coffee. Weird.
Is this pathetic? Or just plain hilarious?
