Frying Bush's Balls..
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a hardcore liberal. My liberal beginnings came from growing up in Southeastern Kentucky, and seeing the harsh reality of what happens when one small group of people benefits from the labor of a much larger group of people. Third world, it definitely is not..in fact, I have a lot of pride about my family that still live there; but it has instilled in me the belief that any system of government which says go fend for yourself, but still give us 1/4 of your paycheck can suck my balls.
With that being said, it is not going to really surprise anyone that I have really enjoyed this week's political showdowns. Ah, our old friend Senator McCain, thank you for reminding us that one can be a conservative and not revert to groupthink and speak everytime an issue comes along. After months and months of insisting that it had to be allowed to use torture to get the answers from suspected terrorists, the White House backed down (gasp).
I'm like a giggly little girl. After the past 5 years of listening to this infinitely self-righteous administration ignore 49.9% of America (if not more) and shoving all types of legislation down our throats that abrogate our civil rights...after being told by the president and his religious right cronies that I am a third-class citizen because of my sexual preference...it is so wonderful to see them have to take it up the ass. Thank you, John McCain, you're getting a Christmusakah card this year. :-)
