I can BREATHE!
I'm sooooooo glad it's break now! This past week and a half has been tiring. I'll tell you what I liked best about it...(since I'm working on this whole optimistic-attitude thing).
Ok, first off, last Sunday I played in a Christmas Showcase thing of my church...(Life Church in MV). Anyway, so I played all right...but the other people were amazing, like the singers and stuff. There were tiny little kids that performed also. Everything was Christmas-ish...but it was soooo fun and a great show! There were the most adorable little kids that sang..and even a family where there were two twin brothers and their older (as in 9) sisters. The four of them sang two songs....REALLY well! And they were only 5-9 years old. Let me just say that they were a MILLION times better than some of the people at my school who are in choir! Anyway, so there were also some adults who sang REALLY well. And then a girl that danced and my pastor was the comedian/host of the evening and I was laughing the whole time. I was totally in the Christmas spirit (for once) with that and I wish it could happen again tomorrow. That totally made my day/week though.
Ok, so then...I had a horrible week at school with a conflict with my b-ball coach, and a couple of tests which I did poorly on.....grr. But!! Last night, I went to see the Nutcracker with my family, grandma, and a friend with her niece and it was so amazing! We were far up but had awesome seats in the theatre. It was cool though because I had binoculars...and kept staring at the male dancer's faces....(some were nice...but I'm not too into having a bunch of weird-looking make-up on a male....gross). Haha...anyway, the dancers were from all over the world and absolutely phenomenal! Go Nutcracker!
I'm sooo excited for the holidays! I might be going to Mammoth with my family, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. We're going to relax and spend time together..(That should be interesting). And, I'm going to several parties!...and Secret Santa for b-ball today for our CHAMPIONSHIP game! I'm excited/nervous...oh well, it'll be fun anyway.
I'm going to try to update this more often....especially since I'll have more free time over the next two weeks.
