Hey, Bob Schieffer is asking some uncomfortable questions! I like this. McCain is trying to distance himself from the Republicans, and he's trying to blame Obama for negative advertising when Schieffer asked him if he buys into his OWN negative advertising.
I think McCain is going for broke, and it's not working.
McCain sounds like a petulant old man. Obama sounds measured and sure. McCain is halting and stumbling, he's just wandering all over the place.
Ahhhh hahahaha! Schieffer is asking about running mates! Oh, dear. Yes, please, let's by all means compare Biden and Palin on who is better for the US! Please let's talk about that.
Let me guess; Obama right now is talking about Biden. What do you want to bet that McCain talks about Biden too? Let's see if I'm right.
OK, he's talking about Palin as a role model for women and reformers. She's going to sweep out the old boy's network. And she's going to help autistic children; she understands it better than anyone in America.
Obama is sidestepping the question of whether she's qualified to be president.
And now McCain is saying the Joe Biden doesn't know his foreign policy stuff.
Energy. Schieffer is trying to nail them down to facts and figures. And McCain is talking about Obama. McCain doesn't seem to want to be specific about his own policies, but he sure knows Obama's. He's talking about what he wants to see, but he's not being specific. Schieffer is trying to nail them down, and Obama is addressing the question.
OK, I'm not blogging this anymore. I think Obama is doing a better job in this debate.
