I think this started with little_tristan* and her fondness for including shiny new distracting videos on her journal.
I heard this song a couple years ago on one of my Pandora stations, but I didn't realize it actually had a video (yeah I know, I'm slow) until I stumbled across it over on Mighty Girl.
But more than that, someone on my twitlist directed me to 70s funk goddess Betty Davis and her femmecentric powersoul. Oh y'all. I do like "Don't Call Her No Tramp" and "She's a Woman", but this is my favorite, "They Say I'm Different". I need to blare this from a radio while I bike.
