Whee
Didn't go to school today. I was awake most of the night trying to simply breathe, so I didn't get to sleep until around 1:30, and then I woke up again at 4, fell back to sleep a half hour later, and slept again until 6 or so. Gads, but I hate being sick in any way.
I discussed making a costume earlier with JenChica, and spent a good while looking for proper costume pieces. I think I've found most of them in patterns and stuff, so woot *L*
During one of the many spurts of awakeness this morning, I went and had an intrusting little "training" session in GC's sim with Alley. She kept dodging my stuff -_- *L* If she hadn't, I prolly would've beat her, too, so all to the good for her.
Did a webcam thing with PetraBrat earlier. She's purty ^_^ She said she'd be getting her own comp soon, so she'll be around more. Rock ^_^
I'm going to sit around and do next to nothing on true V-day (right now does not count *L*) I'll be talking to Alley on voice chat at some point (luffoo mah Valentine! ^_~ ) and maybe expecting a call from John, too. Cool cool. I still need to get/make a card for JenChica. Sorry it's late, hon! Dunno if I'll be doing anything else or no.
Blondie (aka Cath, an old old friend of mine and my mum's) finished my prom jewelry. They look very cool! Cobalt blue crystal and black beads and such. Bracelet and necklace. Very pretty. She did a damned good job makin' them.
Luden's Throat Drops are the best.. too bad my dad only bought me one bag. I'm already out *grimaces* Maybe I'll get him to go buy me another bag. I hate coughing and such, because if I get started, sometimes it'll keep going for a good two or three minutes, and I'll feel that I have to vomit, but I can't. Not a good feeling at all.
The burn is healing nicely, and the blisters that had appeared are now gone, and no other blisters have appeared. Yay. It's still a little sore and such, but not that bad. I imagine it'll be almost completely gone by next Wednesday, or at least at the point where it no longer hurts.
I really, really wish that we had more holidays down here. It's way too long 'til spring break, and I feel the need to just get out of this state. Heh. If I had the chance, I'd maybe go down to Headland, where I used to live (in 'bama) and go see some of my old friends down there. Especially Sani and Edward, and maybe Melissa. And I'd stop by Patrick's mom's house to ask after him. He joined the Marines around the time I left Headland, and I haven't heard from him since. Hope he's all right. I do at least know that he made it through boot camp all right *L*
