Baldur's Gate: DA2

You know things are really, really weird when FURNITURE and BOOKS attack you.

This game is really difficult to play by one's self, let me tell you x_X I have died about a dozen times tonight alone.

BUT, at least I made it to act II of the game. Yay!

And I've gotten lots of money O.o However, every so often, a vast portion of it goes to Ulua, since I'm playing Vhaidra, the drow monk. Apparently, I can switch character classes to assassin later in the game if I keep giving her money, which is okay, because when I give Ulua money, I get the equivalent number of XP in return. Last time I gave her gold, I leveled up twice. w00t!

Also, sprint is your friend. Sprinting is fun. I love to sprint. It helps me run away from HORDES of books and scrolls and chairs and tables flying at me. And... I think those are suits of armor ... not quite sure. Hm.

Anyway... when I get back from Tupelo on Sunday, I'll probably go and try to destroy the lich Lyran or whatever his name is. He's getting on my nerves -_-

This game would be so much easier with another player. *sigh*

In other news... I am the happiest kitty in the world. I got Twelve Kingdoms chapters Nine and Ten! Yay!!!! Now all they have to do is finish making the series, and I will die a very, very happy kitty.

Also, I have a nifty DVD called R2-D2: Beneath the Dome, and it was only $3 at Sam Goody. Yay! And a nifty bookmark with Threepio and Artoo on it, and a little Threepio head on the tassel. Nifty as hell. And I have a really cute sticker that says: Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

Also, anyone who has not seen it yet... Tristan & Isolde is a REALLY good movie - a tearjerker, yes, but very good - and I recommend you see it. Just, uh... take one of those little travel things of tissues with you, though, 'cause you'll need it.

Oh, yeah.... well, there's this play my drama class is doing. It's a musical and it's a soap opera parody. There are two main female characters and two main male characters. I happen to have auditioned for one of said female characters... and got it. I play the part of Destiny Mink in the play Money, Power, Murder, Lust, Revenge, and Marvelous Clothes.

That is the name of the play. I shit you not.

I have to memorize lines. And sing. And dance. And wear make-up. And pretty clothes.

Shoot me, please.

I'm not sure why I wanted to even try for this. The character just amused me, I suppose.

I'm going to try and get my instructor to get a good camcorder, the kind that records digitally, so that we can burn a filming of the play onto DVD-R and I can keep a copy to laugh at in the future.

My friend Jamie gets to play the main male character, Rake. I'm not sure yet who is going to play the other MMC, Amour.

These names are so weird. Peggy Drabb, Destiny Mink. Rake Carbuncle, Amour Balducci.

WEIRD.

Anyways... I've got the most boring class/teacher in the world at 9am, so I'm off to bed.

Ta!

geeky, reality, random
