NaNo Day 2

Nov 03, 2005 00:38

At the end of day two, I yet again reached and somewhat exceeded my goal. I'm at 4175 words.

This makes me happy.

There is an excerpt up on my website, if I haven't mentioned that yet. It's not very long - it's not even the entirety of chapter one, which I haven't finished yet, anyway.

I think I might try to reach 4.5k before I actually go to sleep tonight.

I'd better not let Jessie know that I've been staying up until about 1am so that I can write a NaNovel. He probably wouldn't approve, any more than he'd approve of the sheer number of pixy stix and Halloween candy I've ingested.

Also, I think my apple juice has fermented. It tastes funny. This is bad.

I watched Unleashed earlier. It was pretty good. I liked it.

I guess I'll watch The Village with my dad this weekend - he wanted me to rent it for him, even though I told him that I heard it sucked. I got another opinion today, which mae some sense - Jamie said he thought it was good until about halfway through the movie, when he learned that the village itself is pretty much secluded in the forest in modern times. That's when he decided it was stupid. I'd've probably thought the same thing.

My "d" key is causing me problems. Every time I go to type it, if I don't press down really hard, it doesn't register. This is problematic. My d key is very important. I don't have the time to go back and make sure there's a d every place it's supposed to be at. Grrr.

I might have to pry it up at some point and see if there's something under it, to make it do all of this weird stuff.

Anyways... back to NaNo.

Whee!

reality, nano
