(no subject)
so....I kinda wish my roommate would contact me. Or at least respond to my emails and letters. Oh well. I guess the postal system is probably unreliable in Ghana.
One of my professors emailed me today though.....I didnt even know I had been assigned to any classes yet. But apparently I'm in a freshman seminar on the political history of Kazakhstan and Mongolia!!......kinda useless knowlege, but im still wicked excited about it. The teacher lady sounds amazing. Shes a former Harvard professor who has published three books about Mongol-Chinese relations and spent the summer in Uzbekistan or some randomly awesome place like that!
I really need to do that dormroom shopping sometime. I dont really know where to start though. I tried the mall last week but became overwhelmed and exasperated and left only with some awesomely soft moshi pillow thats shaped like a tootsie roll and some bedsheets that look exactly like the hospitalishly sterile green ones I already have.
oh and now that everyone pretty much knows where they are staying next year. I think we should do some sort of mailing address exchange.
