You know what's astonishing about FM? He can't draw for shit. In "Sin City," the art was "stylized," but in a bright mainstream superhero comic, his drawings look like the work of an arthritic bear.

I honestly haven't been following the series... one of the earlier covers scarred me quite badly.

Yes, 'Europe' isn't the third world. I don't know what this 'daily struggle' is that you speak of, because as a European (OK, as a Brit, but that makes me European...), I don't know what you're talking about. Sophistication does not, nor ever had an 'f' in it. Also, I know we have a famous sense of humour here, but I really, really fail to see what is funny about the cover or showing women as nothing but inflatable dolls

Uh, no. I admit, his All-Star Batman and Robin covers hurt my eyes, but look at his Daredevil run. He's not exactly Bryan Hitch or Alex Ross, but the man does have skill.
