Reins, dammit, he is taking the reins of the Executive Branch. I can't even think of a sentence in which "taking the reigns" would be correct, but it is certainly not this sentence.

I mean, as an American, I'm as excited about Obama's presidency as the next man (provided the next man is also an extremely progressive democrat).

But this is a story about a combination of two of the things I love most: broadband wireless and Anne of Green Gables. Stick to the facts, people. How can I think of politics when I can now email that plucky redhead and her adoptive parents! Or their ghosts, anyway.
