Yuletide Letter

Dear Yuletide writer!

I'm pretty late with this, so feel absolutely free to ignore this if you've already written the story, or started it, or even thought about it for a few seconds on the way to lunch. The important details I'm hoping for are, in order:

1. That you have fun.

2. That there will be a new story for me to draw sparkly hearts around.

That's it! But, of course, it makes for a short Dear Santa letter. (If I'm remembering properly from grade two, it's done to point out what you'd really like up top, and then list everything you might *possibly* approve of getting - just on the off chance Santa has time left over.) And so I'll babble instead.

I like lots of things in stories. I like action, adventure, angst, battle scenes, beautiful sunsets, characters that feel like themselves, drama... all the way to wacky hyjinks, xenophilia and trips to the zoo. There are a couple things, however, that I’m not terribly fond of. I’m not great with unmitigated fluff or PWPs, and I’ve got something of a mentor/student squick. Also, I’d prefer no incest and no non-con within the relationships requested. But mostly I am *easy*, and you are writing me a story about my favourite people. Neither of us can lose!

I think I’ve rambled on quite a lot in the prompts themselves, enough that I’m not sure what I’d add here, anyway. (And feel free to ignore the plot prompts therein, btw - they’re just there if you’re staring at the request with a blank, why me expression.)

If you’ve got any questions, concerns, or opinions about the weather, just send a Yuletide mod after me. I can’t wait to see what you write!

yuletide
