I hope everybody is enjoying their long weekend. I know I am overjoyed that I finally get to sleep in. I've been waking up everyday between 4-5 for the past three weeks because of school stuff. Not fun.
I have nothing of interest to say, really. Batman: Battle for the Cowl #2 looks like it's totally going to make me facepalm when I pick up my copy. My poor little Damian, you may be a homicidal little demonspawn, but you don't deserve that kind of abuse.
Well, maybe you do, but it still makes me sad to see.
I’m not a huge fan of Frank Quitely’s art (his people always look kind of lumpy) but I’m happy to see Damian as Robin. At least I’m 95% sure that’s Damian given his small stature and this little interview excerpt;
IGN Comics: With the June relaunch of the Batman franchise comes a new Batman and a new Robin. DC will kill us for revealing their identities, but can you describe, as much as you can, the new relationship/chemistry between this Batman and Robin and how it would relate to previous Dynamic Duos?
Morrison: It's much more…contentious. This is a very different Batman and Robin team from any that we've seen before. It's almost a reverse of the traditional dynamic, with a more light-hearted and spontaneous Batman and a scowling, badass Robin. Expect fireworks and violence.

I’m not sure how I feel about the black leggings, but I’m thrilled to see green in the costume again. Classic Robin. I also dig his boots. Go, my crazy little Robin! Prove to the criminals of Gotham that a brightly clad little boy is something to be feared and respected!
