Oh Canada! Day 2
Today I took a coworker around Vancouver to some of my favorite spots: The Aquarium in Stanley Park, Granville Island, and Van Dusen Botanical Garden. Good Times. Last night we went to The Cambie, the most raucous bar in Vancouver. There was a guy selling dime bags of pot to a new person every 30-45 seconds. They lined up down the block trying to look inconspicuous. It was so funny. He must have made about a thousand dollars just while we were there.
The work starts tomorrow. There is a prom tonight in the room we will be using for our seminar, so the earliest I can get in there to set up is 6 am. Yuck. I usually set up the night before and stroll in right before it starts, but not this time.
Time to go eat dinner.
From my room on the 20th floor, I can hear horns honking. I look down and see critical mass blowing through the intersection for a good 10 minutes straight.
