Meme: the Box of Me
Say you were meeting a new person -- blind date, new friend, who knows -- and you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are and who you are, but you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to look at/read/listen to/taste/whatever. What would you put in the box? A copy of your journal or a link to your LJ would be the same thing as just telling them directly yourself, so that's not allowed.
What I'd put in my box:

2. the complete Chronicles of Thomas Covenant
3. a pintuck sewing machine foot
4. a copy of Scouting For Boys by Lord Baden-Powell
5. a Wren ascender
6. a piece of my finished needlework
7. my favorite beaded corset
8. a family photo
9. a copy of Mental Health Through Will-Training
10. my MP3 player with its current playlist (mostly public radio shows and audiobooks)
11. a print of Jaro Hess' "Land of Make-Believe"
12. my favorite hand-woven blanket
