Recent gems from Laurel...
The antenna reception in the living room is sketchy, so the local PBS station appears in grainy black-and-white on the TV in there. Laurel was concerned about it yesterday afternoon and tried to improve the reception by moving some video cases, then announced "I broke the problem, so I fixed an idea!"
Later in the day we kicked around the idea of getting some fast food for dinner, so I asked Laurel if she'd like fried chicken, a hamburger or something else. She immediately replied, "A hamburger!", followed up a few minutes later with "A cheeseburger! I don't want any ham."
This morning we watched Robots, her latest favorite movie. When the credits began, she sighed and said "There goes my happy ending!".
