I am glad I escaped Virginia after a year because it was a bad place for me. If you currently live there, you might want to be aware that Delegate John Cosgrove is trying to pass a bill that will make a woman's failure to report a miscarriage without a doctor in attendance to their local law-enforcement agency within twelve hours punishable as a class 1 misdemeanor. (Other class 1 misdemeanors in Virginia include statutory rape, arson, and stalking.) I really wonder how they're going to enforce this if it passes.
