Photo: my first attempt at a wreath bow.

Continuing from last week's post about the wreath: I tried directions for making a loopy bow from several different websites and kept coming up all thumbs, so I made a modified version where I tacked down the final odd-numbered loop with a few stitches to lend the appearance of a tied bow, wired the bow to the wreath frame and hung it up.

I haven't gotten around to picking up paint for the sweet gum pods mentioned in last week's post, so here's a photo of the wreath with just the bow:
