My
FLYlady order arrived on Friday, so I'll be doing a lot of writing tomorrow getting my Control Journal and More Time Moms' calendar set up. I'm still amazed that after just a week of baby steps and fluttering, the living room no longer stresses me out, I'm slowly but surely decluttering the kitchen (my eventual goal is to keep the KitchenAid mixer on the counter) and most mornings I have a dishwasher full of clean dishes to unload -- no more searching for a clean sippy cup or bowl.
A bottle of
Sinus Buster I ordered also came in, but I can't report on its effectiveness yet because the front that came through Friday/Saturday totally kicked my arse. (At this point Vogon would remind me that in a few years I'll be seriously thinking about
laser nasal surgery, which will probably beat my chronic sinusitis into submission for a long, long time.)
It did reduce the swelling in my sinuses, but apparently the front gave me a headache, not just the usual sinus flareup. Incidentally, the feeling of relief after the initial 'bite' of my nerve endings reacting to capsicum felt a lot like a really good orgasm. I doubt it will challenge recreational drugs' place any time soon, but it was nice to have a pleasant end to the "damn, I think my ears are watering!" feeling.
In other news, I finally got around to scanning some of the drawings Laurel's done recently. I'll post later with a link after I throw them up in a Gallery album, but they're moderately entertaining with her descriptions of what's going on in them -- and she really does give me legs up to my face, heh. (:
