Happy New Year
And just like that it's 2008 and I'm 26 years old.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years.
I made out like a bandit this year in the present department, (thanks to one cool brother)
and among other things I'm currently playing Crysis on HIGH settings at a cool 50~60 fps.
The game is amazingly beautiful, and it'll keep me busy for awhile.
Ranking in at about the coolest thing anyone has every done/got for me,
(besides devising/building a jamma/cps2 arcade machine)....
is this: a Nikon D70!!! : O
I spent most of the vacation with Chris running around and taking pictures,
him showing me different things about the camera and how to use it,
what aperture is, shutter speed, and how they all relate to light and depth of field, etc.
We had a great time. Went out to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, where we used to go when we
were young, took loads of pictures of the animals and it was great practice for me. (Even though
my battery died like an hour into it.. ) Check out some of my pictures over at my Flickr page.
So, my new avatar may or may not have something to do with my life in 2008.
I'll find out in about a week or two I think. Also, in Feb I will find out how I did on the
Japanese Language Proficiency Exam I took in Dec in ATL. I pwned it raw dog style but,
I will not for sure how high I scored in Feb.
I'm on facebook now too, I'm sure that anyone reading this already knows that but,
I must say it's a hell of a lot better than Myspace. Just seems more organized. I'm gonna keep Myspace too
though cause it just has soo much music on it and there are so many more users at the moment.
So, just off the top of my head, that makes the running count of Blog/SNSs to about 7.
I am past the point of no return. I have handed over personal privacy willingly in the face of boredom.
On a closing note,
2008 is gonna be the greatest year so far.
