Well, Sometimes I Pay For The Subway
I am in New York. Visiting New York, as usual, makes me want to move here. The foods good, the people are friendly, and it's impossible to be bored. It's a city I feel very comfortable with. The trouble is that it's about 800 times harder to be unemployed in New York than to be unemployed in Portland. And the job market in NY is better, but not great. I definitely noticed a lot of unemployed yuppies loitering in coffee shops.
I just looked at a bunch of photos of a friend's WWOOFing adventures in Europe. I want to go to there. Despite all the traveling I've been doing this summer, my wanderlust doesn't quite feel sated.
Well, time to go to this place and drown my travel envy in free "bespoke" cocktails. Apparently my sister knows the bartender. New York is pretty fun when you're not paying rent and people give you stuff for free.
