On The Tail End Of The Heatwave
Took the Plutocrat out for a birthday burger at Foster Burger last night and chatted about movies and the employed life over a pitcher of Twilight ale. Gonna watch Life During Wartime later this week. Good times!
It's been so hot over the last few days that I've been more unproductive than usual. Today I'm going to send off the last resumés and cover letters for opportunities I actually find interesting. After that I'll be canvassing a couple comic book stores and then resigning myself to a food service job.
The good news is that ever since I've told my friends that I'm looking for a job, they've been directing me to actual job opportunities. Scooping frozen yogurt isn't my dream job, but it'd certainly beat unemployment for a few months.
