Today I attended the Portland Retro Gaming Expo with Twee McGee this morning. He picked me up in a zipcar and we spun out. Now I have an old Space Invaders cartridge to display on a shelf somewhere.

I wrote the first six pages of my thesis yesterday. It came to me easily, but I felt drained afterward. I've been feeling eager and restless and all I want is a car and more time. Beat nostalgia, perhaps. I want to burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles.
