Anonymous was right, and I didn't go to CMU. It's no solution and it's not something for which I'm passionate. If I change my mind down the line, I can always re-apply. Honestly, I think the fact that I got accepted to grad school might be enough for me, at least at this point. It was an exciting thought

The only way you'll be able to find your life is if you start going out into the world and living it. Travel, meet people, work when you can and make your bills. Carving out your niche takes a long time, especially if you're not at peace with the way things are at first. But you've gotta have the balls to swim in the sea, or else you're just another spectator on the shore. Julia+Julia alla pizza e vino under a blanket is a nice safe place (one of my favorite) but it wont bring happiness or peace, just tranquility and somebody else's story.
I'm graduating this semester, and I'm not staying in michigan any longer than I have to. There's too many possibilities and opportunities out there to stay in 906. I love it here, but at the same time I know trying to make things work in this small town isn't an easy job, and it usually happens to people who either get stuck by way of circumstance, or don't let go to something they've already lost.
You could do pastry. Goddamn right :)
