So the coffee house/ open mike night was..interesting. In terms of people we were much more successful. Over 30 paying guests. But the majority was rude paying guests. Everyone was smoking outside and talking loudly during performances. And the bands really weren't that good. RTW, with Dillion and another new first time player were awsome as always. Upstairs was pretty good. Another beautiful Jack Johnson cover. And there was a duet at the beginning with guitars and a harmonica. They were really good but I missed a lot of their show. The Drive Within though...not so good. And they're the ones with the record deal!!! And the Incessive Pop group was terrible!!! And rude again. The Drive Within ended up playing outside and we had to sit there and monitor the decimal level so they didn't break the 6 inch glass on the Beluga tank! They stayed in a safe range though...unfortunately. We really wanted to shut them up. Note to Jill: ERIC BLUM NEVER CAME!!!!!!! I was sad. I was looking foreward to his performance lol. Oh well. Also, my apologies to Jeff and Tyler who had to deal with a very hyper Sam on the ride down. Yesterday was fun too though. We had another movie ngiht at our house. And tonight we're going to Thompson Speedway for the Eve of Destruction! Yes those are awsome. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.
