My dad taught us that as kids to keep us entertained in the car. Only in Mexico, for local use, it's slightly different:

Alfa, Bravo, Coca, Delta, Eco, Foxtrot, Golfo, Hotel, Julieta, Kilo, Lima,
Metro, Néctar, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Unión, Víctor, Whiskey, eXtra, Yanqui, Zulu.
