so, in real world events (or at least my own little life), not a whole lot has been going on lately. I play on my computer, some chores (I do the dishes every damn day, among other things), been tearing down some old fencing on our property that had been falling apart (it's about 20 years old and, well, wood rots).
Saturday was a training day over at Disney University, something called "Traditions." Mostly not that interesting - I was doodling in one of the handout things they give you, copying an illustration of Mickey and other characters. Havent had much outlet lately for that sort of stuff, kinda good to draw even if it was just copying. Anyhow, Thursday will start a five day block for my Entertainment Cast Member training, so I assume I will be "earning My ears" as Pat was.
Oh yeah, saw Harry Potter over the weekend with family. It was somewhat darker and scarier than the other films but the screenplay was weaker in my opinion. I dont expect everything to make it through the transition, but they really glossed over some highly important stuff, particularly about the animagus stuff and the mischievious coterie.
And in other movies, been watching a few on tv, AMC often has good stuff on. Lately saw Jaws again, one of my fav horror pieces, also Return of the Pink Panther - Peter Sellers is a genius (although the appeal of his dryer side in Dr. Strangelove holds stronger for me).
