I'm a douchebag, get me out of here!
The lowest form (and therefore the most nauseating/entertaining) of reality tv is this new season of "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!". Basically, they take B (or lower) list entertainers and throw them in a rainforest ala Survivor.
I'm watching the second episode and have discovered celebrities I didn't know and now cannot stand. I do not watch MTV programming because it's run by 12 year olds who wouldn't know talent if it bit them in the ass and jostled their goods a bit; Hence I know little to nothing about The Hills. Yet I know that Spencer and Heidi Pratt are possibly the stupidest, most ignorant people on the planet.
Heidi is a Christian and wants to be Mother Theresa....while squawling about her lack of beauty products and constantly brushing and misting her hair. Her husband, Spencer, has recently given his heart to Christ. He is all about five star resteraunts, five star hotels...he lives a five star life. That's a direct quote...which says nothing about his spirituality, but sheds a little light on his character. I am SCREAMING at the TV "Five star is about luxury, not class, you douche!" and then he drops this little profound bombshell...
"My wife will pray about things... and they come true... So, I prayed my first prayer. I said "God, if you're really real and all that powerful...I want to go on a double date with Miley Cyrus! And less than a month later I was hanging with her, so there you are..."
I don't think I can watch this show any more. I'm developing a tic.
