AC: Brotherhood character gripe

So I've been playing a lot of the multiplayer in AC: Brotherhood. This means I now need to complain. Not about the multiplayer - about the character designs.

I will start by saying this: I don't think the women characters are badly designed at all. They aren't just there to be sexy, they aren't all conventionally attractive, and they all wear a reasonable amount of clothing. Here's the characters currently in the game:

Smuggler
Courtesan
Hellequin
Thief

All in all, not too bad. But take a look at some of the guys:

Captain
Engineer
Mercenary
Blacksmith

It's that same ol' double standard about the kinds of variation in body type that are acceptable in male/female characters. All of the female characters are short and slight - the men range in build, height and girth. To crunch some numbers:

Female Characters: 4
Male Characters: 13

Thin/Female: 3
Medium/Female: 1
Broad/Female: 0
Bulky/Female: 0

Thin/Male: 2
Medium/Male: 5
Broad/Male: 4
Bulky/Male: 2

The spectrum is, admittedly, not so broad for the guys, either, but there is definitely more of a variety. I probably wouldn't mind it at all if the same level of variety was across both sexes, but as it stands, the female options are fewer, less diverse, and also just irritatingly tiny next to the male options. I wouldn't mind if just one was petite but they're all incredibly slight. The courtesan has a more medium build, but when that's the extent of variation, well...

Anyway, on a non-complainy note, I am getting much better at multiplayer. Characters of choice:
Hellequin
Thief

ladies, assassin's creed
