It's white and bright and all around, the lights are spinning and the floor sparkles beneath and above and next to you. It's all glitter, it's all giggle bubbling out of your throat, it's all flitty touch that crawls across the carpet until it finds warm human flesh.
It's all sparkle in his eyes, glowing and shining and prickling your spine with their intensity and closeness. Then it's all laughter, high-pitched and free, piercing and gripping and so so close. Fingertips are dots of light, trailing and touching and sparking against flints of skin and--
The touching stops on cue as you both look up and away, both feel the tug of dull and matte and ache and serious. But you both know better than to trust solid ground, so it's back to the mirror, back to the white, back to the bright and all around.
One two shot, smack slide hit and go. Blink and sniffle and then it's all giggles and grins again, brighter and brighter every time.
