I came in just in time to watch the grand slam made by Kosenko and accepted it. I congratulated the White Sox on their accomplishment. Then I saw the guy that was given first base and the video that showed the ball clearly hit his bat and not his arm. If it had hit his comparatively soft arm instead of the bat, it would have stopped and fallen, perhaps in an arc. This ball kept its speed and ricocheted at an expected angle. The umpire called this fair even after our coach went up to argue. It obviously hit his bat! And we could have struck him out and prevented the grand slam completely. I think we had two outs. But this is going to cost us our second game.
Any thoughts?
