Life + Sylabi --> iCal --> iPod = me never forgetting shit ever again.
When is Apple just gonna make a PDA? Honestly if they're making entire computers that fit into a car dashboard they might as well put em in people's palms. They need to drop the Shuffle, and make a PDA about the same size as the iPod. I propose: 2+ gigs of solid state memory, 512 RAM, Airport, Bluetooth, and a tiny version of OSX that runs stripped down programs of iCal, Safari, iTunes, iChat, Mail, and Sherlock and who knows what else. I can see it being the same shape as the iPod most likely longer but it would fit in the same dock. It could open in half for a larger screen and querty keyboard and a stylus would control a mouse on a touch screen. A longer (wider) screen would make it possible for a dock on the side without sacrificing veiwing space. Pretty much anyone that has a PDA has a cell phone so the necessity for them to be the same device is futile. Besides cell phones are starting to have Bluetooth so you could still connect to the net that way. An Airport can get the net up to something like 100 foot range so that should rarely be an issue. Head phones add larger antenna. I want it to look like a mini powerbook with brushed titanium and a glowing apple on the outside :)
I think having a PDA that's 100% integrated with yur personal computer would be highliy incredible. You dock it in or just turn it on with bluetooth and you're instantly interfaced with it. Blutooth's range is up to 50 FEET, so you barely need to be at your computer at all. Music, calendars, adresses, images; all easily swapable from mac to PDA.
I'd get one.
