today's progress
Yeah.........So, I got my rough storyboard all made up today. I think I'm gonna try to do something quasi Hitchcock with the strangling scene. Maybe I'll have like 10 or so fast cuts of the action and then a longer shot of the dead body and the dragging. I think it'll be good. All told I have like 40+ shots planned out...granted most are not even a second long, but I'm hoping I can get all the stuff I want in the 3-5 minutes. I like to shoot BIG and then trim it down if necessary.
I'm thinking I'm gonna need somewhat of a crew for this project. I know I don't want anyone from the damn class, cause I want the grade for myself this time. I've told some friends who may be remotely interested, but they come with schedualing delemas. If anyone reading this feels like they'd wanna contribute I'll take resumes, and portfollios, hehe j/k. But seriously, if you've got free time and wanna play movie maker with me, let go! :-)
And Becky, if you wanna have any part in it, that'd be great, but I know you're busy so I won't ask...I'll just tell you everything about it all the time, and you'll wanna help :-P Well, I'll at least ask your advice. You deffinately know what you're doing with this kinda thing, and I'm learnin' it like a mouse on crack running that damn maze.
Yeah, so I really wanna blow everyone's minds. HAHA Not with story and characters, but just with my editing. I need to use digital for this. I need to be able to control the sound effects and music with my meticulous creativity. I guess I'll be spending a long time at STAR learning the shit on my own. Final Cut, I'll own you! haha. at least the uber basic shit so I can make my movie super!
and hey if anyone wants to actually be IN the movie contact me. There's only a few parts, but I need to find people who are serious about it. I may be posting flyers in the PAB. ok, long
