So where have I been?
Well I started managing a cafe in Cobble Hill...and it's been anything, everything, but easy. I'm not going to delve into it here...at all...but it's been a lesson in patience.
I spent the other day following cute men around various stores. It was all going well until I came upon the sudden conclusion that I am creepy and need to just stop and say "hi" to someone instead of admiring them/people watching them.
This ringing conclusion arrived after I spent 15 minutes flirting with a very cute man in a vest in Virgin Megastore only to realize that he was Jake Shears...lead singer of the fantabulous Scissor Sisters...I promptly wet em and then damned myself for not saying hello when he was a breath away from me in the box set section.
The "what if?" I missed there eh?
It's only funny because years ago I had a series of dreams that Mr. Shears and I lived happily ever after in a beautiful house by an ocean...so yeah...missed that one.
Maybe dodged a bullet...seeing my track record with musicians...
