Children & Objectionable Anecdotes

I bought a kick-ass tie today for a wedding I'm going to in May. I also got a nice new sweater. I wanted to get a green jacket that I've been after for months...but of course...it was gone today.

On the way home, Hayley and I ran into a group of people filming some sequences for Sesame Street in Washington Square Park. It was one of those muppets and young kids segments. In this one a red muppet (we couldn't figure out who it was) talked to this tiny little kid named Tak who plays the violin. It was kinda amazing. Then Tak pretended to be an airplane and the muppet explained that the word of the day was 'practice'. It's amazing to watch a man get inside a red furry object and bring it to life...even I was conviced that the muppet was oddly alive...

We also got to hear one of my new favorite things overheard ever..."Nigga was a duck"...I'm not even sure what it's in reference to, but I love it. I know, I know...I'm a terrible person for relating this story, and that word...but it's still funny...and it's still weird...so deal.

In closing...I am now manager of Tea Lounge #3 in Cobble Hill. Come visit starting Monday night!

It was sunny and amazing out today...tomorrow...even more of that!
