Fic recommendation

 First things first; I am not a huge fan of Twilight.  I have read the books, I think that they're reasonable, but they will never be favourites.  That said, I got an email from a friend complete with a link to what I consider one of the best fanfictions I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

It really is fantastic.

Follow here:  your heart remained the same

Another reason I like it is that the authors shares the same view I do on imprinting.  I don't see it as 'true love' in the slightest; how can it be when you don't have a choice?
