[A night of rest in a warm, soft bed does Sanji a world of good. When he stirs the next morning with a loud yawn, there's bright attentiveness in his eyes that was half-missing the day before. He doesn't even freak out when realizing he's not in his own bed.

...

Well, he doesn't freak out that much. Still staring around the room in suspicion, ( Read more... )

[Nami was dozing at the table stupid clowns, but inevitable screams of SKELETOOOON! kind of woke her up. So now she's going to sit there with her chin propped on her hands sleepily and just ...watch Sanji meet the crew.

...and snag him if he attempts to leave.]

[right now, he's looking quite mesmerized by Brook's playing. He's definitely not going anywhere for the rest of the day, lucky them.

His eyes will eventually wander their way over to her. Once he sees her, she's treated to a grin and a wave. He apparently remembers her from the day before]

[She'd hope so ;; But she'll just smile and wave back. If Brook can keep him entertained, great. In the meantime, she'll ...go and find breakfast.]

[don't think you've escaped, lady. He'll be coming after you once he's done spazzing at the skeleton]

[She'll be cleaning up, actually. Brook having just got home means it's time for breakfast for everyone, but the likelihood of Luffy not having buzzsawed his way through here earlier are kind of low. But Nami will spare a grin for Sanji when he appears in the doorway.]

Morning. Hungry?

I already ate with Robin! [we'll just say the timeline is messy and twisted, but it all happened at SOME point... nevermind Nami was in there THE ENTIRE TIME.]

But I forgot to make breakfast for the rest of you...

[She was clearly dead to the world and had temporarily slid under the table or something. |Db]

Really? What did you have? [Oh good, two less people to feed. She'll dry her hands and lean against the bench to face him.] And that's okay. Brook only just got home.

I can give you a hand if you like.

Omelets. I still have the mixture in the fridge, if you wanna make those with me.

[it is his duty to cook for you all as a thank you... but a helper would be nice]

Sure! Just let me finish cleaning up and we can get right on that. [Which will only take another minute or two, anyway. Stupid captain.]

Did you sleep okay?

Yeah, I slept fine. [a pause]

Thank you for letting me stay here.

You're welcome! We're from the same place, right? Have to stick together.

[Ze kitchen is clean. You may begin preparing breakfast at your leisure, mini-Sanji.]

[You've earned yourself more gravy points, Nami. He looks very pleased to hear that] Yeah!

[and he'll begin by dragging a chair back over to the stove. Turns the heat on, then goes for the mixture in the fridge.]

Brook said he wanted ham, potatoes, cheese and potatoes... uh, Ginko just wants anything. Do you know what the rest of your crew would like?

Hmm. Well, it's breakfast. They've enjoyed omelettes before. Do you have enough mixture for everyone?

[And she's going to keep out of his way until she's called on for help, and just ...keeping a close eye on a much shorter Sanji in the kitchen. The chair makes her a little nervous.]

Uh-huh. Robin said make enough for ten or so people. [though she wasn't counting Ginko in that. He'll stick to that amount anyway.

Oh Nami, you don't want to know how many times Sanji has fallen off a chair. It'll be a miracle if he goes the week without a lump on his head. But anyway! Cutting up the potatoes, the ham, and the mushrooms. They go into the skillet first to brown]

[This is why she is watching you like a hawk. But she'll move to help you with cutting up potatoes when you do those, at least.]

Then there's more than enough. Is Ginko staying for breakfast?

[He's not gonna complain, and even moves to the side to give her more room.]

He said he was. He needs to eat. [said in a way that makes he clear Sanji will drop his cute face and turn into a terror should Ginko try to escape.

And now he pours a bit of the egg mixture into the pan, waiting patiently for it to firm up before folding it carefully]
