Catching up
I'd intended to write before now. The trip to Dallas was good--finished up the genealogy project at Greenville (hard to believe I won't be going back, but they're doing well), got to see friends I don't get to see very often, had a nice visit with my brother and his girlfriend. When I came home to Austin, I immediately immersed myself in grading homework and reassuring my online class, who were freaking out about their homework. I'd hardly gotten all that done when my cat Anton disappeared for three days, plunging me into worry and heartsickness. When he reappeared about 2AM last Friday night, I hugged him so hard that his eyes bulged. And from there, it's just been a lot more work with DeSoto and my UNT class, and of course, the TV premieres and all.
