Bouncing Off The Walls Again
Just a warning: my space bar works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't so words may run together and if it happens I'm sorry, get over it (not like anyone reads this).
Wednesday wewent to theWarthogs game. We ended up leaving during the 6th inning because some kids got sick. When we got back we just layed around for a while before I left to go home. Wednesday night I went up to East Surry and watched the Surry Pride Jr Legion team play North Wilkes. I saw Britt and Stacey (Britt was there cause Ryan was playing). I talked to them some, Debbie Taylor (Ryan's mom). A little later Sam Jones came and I talked to him some. Then even later on Julie and Travis Gammons came. I talked to them some and Beth O'Neal too. After the game I went home and went to bed.

Thursday we went to Recreation Acres and played softball for about 2 hours. It ended up being a 3-3 tie. It was fun. Pretty hot though. After that we went back to the Y and ate lunch. After lunch we changed and went swimming. When we got to the pool there was some aerobics class for old women in the pool so we had to wait for 30 minutes before we got in. Once we got in we had fun. I like swimming with the 4th and up kids because they can all go anywhere in the pool. We wrestled some. Had some splash fights. Me and Sam played a couple kids in volleyball. Anytime we'd score we'd jump up and chest bump. Now, just think of this: someone my size and then someone 3 inches taller than me but in the same proportion as me chest bumping in the pool. Oh well, me, Sam, and Savannah (the lifeguard) thought it was funny. We swam for an hour and a half and then went to snack time. After snack time was closing assembly. Then I came home.
Today I had the horrible shift. 8am til 6pm. It sucks. The kids sucked today. This morning we went out by the patio outside of the pool on the grass. I hooked up the sprinkler and we played Jump the Creek over the sprinkler. I wet the grass down so when the kids would land they'd slide. It was funny and they had fun so it was all good. Then we hung out outside and dried off til lunch. After lunch we went to the gym and played elimination. During the game Jerimiah walked in the gym. Jerimiah is about 6'4 or so, skinny, and at baseball and basketball games he's extremely loud and funny. He's about 22 I think. He comes in and I tell him we were having a battleball game later cause he loves battleball and he goes, "I love this game too" and just jumped in and started playing. After that was over he took my job (saying ready set go) for the second game. Towards the end of the game me, Sam, and Jerimiah started playing. I won. It was cool. I'm awesome. After that was over we went to the game room. We had a Mario Kart tournament. I came in 5th place. I was in the semifinals and was in 1st and hit one of those stupid bombs in the track. Pissed me off cause I never hit those things. I ended up coming in 3rd. I almost came back and came in 2nd and that woulda sent me to the finals. Oh well. After that was snack, then we went back outside, then came in and played Main Deck Quarter Deck Poop Deck. That game's great. All the kids do is run. After that was closing ceremony where we named Honor Camper of the Week and all that stuff. Then we went in the gym til everyone went home. I left like 15 minutes late cause a kid's parent was late.
Tonight I sat around til around 9 when I changed clothes and went back to the Y. There was supposed to be a lock-in and I was gonna help Sam out AKA play the Game Cube all night. I got there and it had been canceled. So instead me, Brian, Allison, Sam, and Lee went to Chili's. I felt young. Sam's 27, Lee's 25, Brian's 22, Allison is 20, and I'm 17. Oh well. It was fun. Brandon showed up for a lil bit while we were there. Many jokes said. Lee decided to call me Flounder for some reason. I'm not asking why. Then we came home and I'm here now.
