Visual SourceSafe

I'm still trying to work out where the Safe bit of Visual SourceSafe fits into the equation. Fuck, its not even particularly Visual!

P.S. If anyone has any tips on recovering SourceSafe databases, please let me know.

P.P.S. If anyone mentions Subversion they'll get a slap - we prefer expensive software tools with plenty of bugs and a restrictive licence.
