Thanks a lot for the comment. :) I've been wanting to write a TK fic for awhile, but rare fandoms are so hard to get the drive to write for because so few people read them.

everyone masses the LotR and LotR RPS fandoms--and miss gems like this. :P

Actually, that makes my list of top five slash fandom peeves. It is not true that there are no good writers, but it is true that they all flock to LotRPS. I have tried so hard to get into it, but I can't force myself to like it. I just have no interest in any of them. I don't get the popularity among the talented, do you?

well, of course there are good authors--but with so many authors in a fandom, they're hard to find.

and, no, any interest i might have had, was soon killed by the overwhelming popularity.

Wow, that would suck. I've an unfortunate appreciation for rare ships myself, but I can't imagine how much one misses out on if driven away by a pairing's popularity.

Well, actually, I kind of can. Most popular pairings do nothing for me.
