Bond Slash.
Some Bond (of the new Casino Royale) fic I appreciated today. My only problem is that in all the fics I scoured (there was even a Good Omens story featuring Crowley at the other end of the /-a worthwhile read for fans of the book), 007 is always the one putting his... gun in someone else's holster. (Ooh, that was deliciously awful to type out. I must write a spoofery type fic full of those some time, I enjoy them so.) I would think the more exciting thing (or at least one to try out for the sake of mixing things up a little) would be to see what it would take to get Mr. Bond to do the the... holstering. XD

Patriots by ficangel, Bond/Bourne (Bourne xover) NC-17
A real treat. Bond and Bourne have brushed barely... more than shoulders in the past, but when they meet again, a mature and assured Bond presses the point and their present entertwines more deeply and leisurely.
James feels as if he is trying to coax forward a particularly lethal deer, and he wonders why Bourne came forward into the lair of a potential enemy in the first place.
Villiers (played by Tobias Menzias of HBO's Rome) is cute, and it appears enough Bond fangirls think so, too. Or perhapst enough are swayed by the fact so irresistably stated in the Wikipedia entry on Bond's Casino Royale allies: Some fans have given Menzies' character the nicknames "Mister Moneypenny" and "Mannypenny" after M's secretary from the previous Bond films due to her role being approximately filled by Villiers. In any case, this appears to be a popular (relatively-this is still a small fandom) pairing, and plenty easy on the eyes, if I do say so. (Plus, Le Chiffre was ridiculous, right down to his slashy testes-smacking.)

A bit lovely dovey, but the writing and characters don't suffer for it in this one. In fact, it's a rather heart-warming little fuck fest, and that's coming from someone who doesn't have much tolerance for love in this line of business. ;)
Dealing a New Hand by smilla840, Bond/Villiers PG-13
Despite the tame rating, this one is hotter than Morgane's above fic just for how the smooch-in-the-doorway scene is reenvisioned. And it's more fun, peppered with the banter that makes this pairing one of equality rather than possession.
I'm sure I've missed some aces. Which would be a damn shame.
