Daily Sketch: Ashwinder
In color! No wai!
I drew this for an analysis project I'm doing on TDF, and realized that ::gasp:: it counts as a daily sketch! Colors were put on with paint.NET, which is difficult as hell after getting nice and used to photoshop. ::kicks dead laptop::
Anyway, this is an Ashwinder, which is a magical snake from the Potter-verse that comes into being whenever a magical fire is left unattended. They sneak away, leaving a trail of ash, and lay eggs in a dark secluded place. Ashwinders only live for an hour and dissolve into ashes after laying their eggs. But their eggs radiate a lot of heat and if they aren't found and hit with a freezing charm in time, they can set a building on fire and burn it to the ground within minutes.
